INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SUPPORT GROUP

When the Center for International Education was founded, one of the aims was to build a student organization where the students could develop a deeper awareness of themselves and their role in the ever expanding focus of globalization grow in knowledge and values.

The group consists of approximately 25 students, who accompany the foreign students in different schedules, according to the various activities of each international program directed by the International Center and serve as a connection between the ULSA student community and the foreign students who visit us.

From 1998 up to 2005 the group wasn’t formally recognized, but finally by the end of May 2006, and with the help of Luz Morales, assistant to Provost Bro. Martín Rocha a final document was written, which would be the starting point of the International Student Support Group.  Then on June 22, 2006 the group was officially accepted as part of the Student Organizations under the supervision of the Area of Formation.

The group's vision is to function as an outreach of the Center for International Education here at La Salle University Mexico City campus and to help group members develop qualities of leadership that can contribute to the internationalization of the University.
