SPANISH LANGUAGE & CULTURE PROGRAM IN MEXICO CITY

 

 

Intensive Summer Program includes:

45 Hours of Spanish (3 levels, small groups, books included)

18 Hours of Mexican History and Culture

An Intercultural Awareness session

Cultural field trips, including:        

  • Pyramids of Teotihuacan and Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe
  • Double decker tour of Historic Downtown Center
  • Colonial Coyoacán and Frida Kahlo Museum
  • University City (UNAM), Dolores Olmedo       
  • Museum and the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco      
  • Museum of Anthropology and Chapultepec Castle      
  • Taxco  – day trip.      
  • Colonial city of Puebla and Cholula pyramid – overnight  trip.  

Afternoon activities such as Salsa lessons, Mexican cooking classes, local market visits.Use of all campus facilities, including gym, computers with internet access, medical dispensary with on-call English-speaking physician.

Housing with a nearby Mexican family; 2 meals included
