INSTRUCTIONS OF PAYMENT OF HOUSING FEES

 

 

Upon arrival at the Universidad La Salle campus, the student must pay the following housing fees:

 

  1. Housing Placement Fee: US$120.00. (This fee is in addition to the Student Services Fee.)
  2. Two months´ rent: (according to the meal plan chosen): The first month´s rent will be paid to the family providing housing facilities to the student. The additional month´s rent will be held by the University as deposit to cover the last month´s rent. The rest of the housing fees will be paid monthly according to the date of arrival of the student.

    It is VERY IMPORTANT to keep in mind that while you are here you cannot make any changes in the meal plan that you have chosen. Just as well, in case that you decide for any reason to leave the house before the semester is over, you must advise the housing office 30 days in advance to apply the last month´s rent that you paid as deposit because this amount is NON-REFUNDABLE.

 

All payment will be made at the CIEL´s Housing Office, IN CASH, in Mexican pesos or U.S. dollars, at the rate of exchange in which the student makes his first payment (the University does not accept personal or traveler´s checks but traveler´s checks can be exchanged at any bank), and they will be deposited in the Cashier´s Office of the University and the following day the student will receive the corresponding receipt in the same place.

Universidad La Salle´s Cahier´s Office administers the housing fees and pays the host families on a monthly basis. If you arrive in Mexico with the total amount covering the housing fees, you may deposit it in the Cashier´s Office.
