DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

 

Prior to Admission 

 

Students should submit applications to their coordinator in their home university. Universidad La Salle must received applications by October 31st for Spring semester, and May 15th for Fall semester.

  1. Universidad La Salle Application form for academic exchange: It must be legible, complete and signed.
  2. Autobiography: Must be in Spanish, in approximately 500 words.
  3. Letter of intention: Must be in Spanish, in approximately 150 words stating the reasons to study at Universidad La Salle.
  4. University transcripts: Official list of courses taken and grades obtained.
  5. Home university’s letter of approval for participation in the exchange program at Universidad La Salle
  6. Pre-selection of courses to be taken in Universidad La Salle*/Study Program/Learning Agreement: Students must send their selected courses along with their application form so we can check availability of courses. Please note that final selection will be made during Orientation Week, which takes place one week before classes start each semester. Attendance is mandatory for all exchange students.
  7. Proof of language proficiency: Letter from professor, diploma or certificate, if Spanish is not mother tongue.

* To select classes, students should choose from the list available in the Universidad La Salle web site:  http://www.ulsa.edu.mx/educativa/?pagina=licenciaturas. At the Licenciaturas page, they may select their area of study and then go to Plan de studios to select the courses they are interested in. Exchange students may select classes from different programs. Please contact the academic advisor in each school if you need information on courses.

 

Upon Arrival 

   

  1. Copy of passport
  2. Copy of migratory form: Students fill out a Multiple Migratory Form valid for 180 days. If they stay for two semesters, they exchange this form for a Non-Immigrant Form. We will send further instructions to students, along with their welcome letter once they are accepted.
  3. Copy of Medical Insurance Coverage: All students must have International Medical Insurance Coverage that covers them during their stay in Mexico. They must provide proof of insurance.
  4. Copy of Credit Card: Students must have a credit card that they may use to cover any medical emergency.
