MIEX program was originated in Europe, with the initiative of two recognized universities: the ICN Business School of France, one of the most prestigious Universities in the Business field, and the University of Bologna, Italy, the oldest University of the world founded in 1088. The concept formulated included 2 fundamental aspects: 1st.- To offer the participants a real international academic environment: achieved upon developing a consortium of recognized universities in different representative parts of the world. Thus it was sought to initiate with some universities which already had bilateral alliances in Europe, Asia and America. The Postgraduate Studies and Research of La Salle University had a bilateral alliance with ICN of France, for this reason La Salle was the first university invited to participate in the program. From here the consortium was born with the prestigious Universities of La Salle in Mexico City, MGIMO in Russia, ECUST in China and the two founders’ universities ICN in France and UNIBO in Italy. 2nd.- To obtain a real experience of international business: achieved upon developing experiences in the field like company visits and business games, as well as practical work activities, like internships and project works which allow students to be immediately in contact with the work world
The innovative MIEX program aims to fully prepare you for your place in the international business world through courses of study in three different countries: France, Italy and a choice for the third country between China, Mexico or Russia. Close collaboration with companies with international activities forms an essential feature of the program, making sure you develop exactly the right skills needed to work proactively in international management. MIEX has forged links with this impressive network of business contacts, both to enrich your courses and to help provide you with firsthand access to the international business world during your field work project at the end of your first year and your project work at the end of your second year.
